IHCL, GOA HOTELS REINFORCE RESPONSIBLE HOSPITALITY, MARKS FOUR YEARS OF PAATHYA WITH BHARAT EKSAATH WALKATHON

Raises funds for Taj Public Service Welfare Trust

Goa, MARCH 23, 2026: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues to advance its sustainability and social impact agenda through Paathya, its ESG+ framework. 

 

Marking its fourth year, IHCL reinforced its commitment to responsible tourism with Bharat EkSaath Walkathon – Goa edition, an inclusive 3 km walk bringing together associates, their families, local partners, vendors and community across 14 countries in over 200 locations. The funds raised through the walkathon support the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), reinforcing IHCL’s approach to social impact. 

 

Over 600 plus associates and their families came together for Bharat EkSaath Walkathon from Taj Cidade de Goa; Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa; Vivanta Goa Panaji and Miramar; Ginger – Dona Paula, Margao and Candolim; Gateway Goa Palolem; SeleQtions – La Estoria and The Yellow House and the amã Stays & Trails villas in GoaA morning that truly felt like a celebration of unity in motion. 

 

Flagged off by Mr. Ranjit Phillipose, Senior Vice President – Operations, Goa from the Zuari and Mandovi lawns of Taj Cidade de Goa the walk traced a scenic route around Dona Paula before culminating back at the Fishtail Lawns.

 

What stood out was not just the scale, but the shared spirit colleagues, families, and friends walking side by side with a common purpose. The morning concluded over a healthy breakfast, filled with conversations, laughter and a deep sense of togetherness a true reflection of the Spirit of Tajness.
