<p>Since the films’ theatrical releases, the competition between Prabhas’ Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office has generated news. On social media, the supporters of the two celebrities have been criticizing one another. <p>Prashanth Neel blasted the possessive fans for turning the Christmas fight between his film Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire nasty, claiming that his movie is not at war with Dunki in an interview with Pinkvilla. “This is what happens in movies,” he said. You support your heroes, and your emotions overcome you. While it may seem like a conflict to the fans, we are not attempting to outdo one another. Together, we are both attempting to survive. I’m not in favor of joining anything like that. I’ve heard it’s awful. And I really hope that it did not come to that since both of these celebrities are well-known in Indian film and should be treated with the respect that they have earned over the years. The whole setting is unfavorable to the movie theater as well. You would be better off ignoring it since you have no influence over anything like that. You just let it go.”</p>
<p>“There is no war between Dunki and Salaar,” he said. Neither of us, I believe, thinks that way. It is my belief that the creators of Salaar and Dunki do not have the same mindset. In addition to trying to wow the audience, we are here to survive. The audience is to be entertained by us. Our goal in being here is not to outdo each other. This isn’t a game of cricket.</p>
<p>Both Dunki and Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire have been performing well at the box office despite their conflict. In only eight days, Rajkumar Hirani’s Shah Rukh Khan film has made Rs 317.25 crore globally, while Prashanth Neel’s Prabhas-starring film has brought in Rs 485 crore. In the meanwhile, Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, has Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in addition to Prabhas and is doing very well at the box office. However, Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar, among others, have important parts in Dunki.</p>
