<p>In the Indian Premier League, the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have grown to be fierce rivals, sharing the record for the most championships won by any team.</p>

<p>Ambati Rayudu, who had the honor of representing both MI and CSK in the IPL, thinks that the fan bases of the two teams are not the same.</p>
<p>Rayudu believes that fans of MI are more focused on the team than on individual players, but this isn’t the case with CSK, where he asserts that supporters support Dhoni before the team.</p>
<p>As a player, I would say that they back many Mumbai Indians players, as well as players X and Y. They are exclusively for Indians in Mumbai. The Chennai Super Kings are a little bit unique. Chennai consists of CSK supporters after Dhoni’s supporters. It is unlikely that the stadium would be half filled if Mahi bhai were not there. They’re all lovers of Mahi bhai, Rayudu said.</p>
<p>Even four years after making his last appearance for India in an international match, Dhoni—fondly known as Thala by his horde of CSK supporters—remains a major attraction.</p>
<p>Currently leading CSK in the IPL, Dhoni is one of the best captains to have captained India. Earlier this year, he led the team to an unprecedented fifth IPL triumph.</p>
<p>With the exception of two seasons during which they were banned and the first half of 2022, when all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took over as captain, CSK has been headed by Dhoni from the IPL’s founding in 2008.</p>
<p>Although it was generally anticipated that Dhoni’s illustrious playing career will come to an end in the IPL 2023, the iconic skipper is anticipated to don the yellow jersey once more the following year after being listed as one of the players CSK has kept ahead of the next auction.</p>
